According to her, we have to control our anger by auto-suggestion.
I as an ordinary layman think that this procedure can be adopted only in respect of contemplative and pre-determined anger persisting for some time, whereas most of the ordinary people are inflicted with spontaneous anger arising on the spur of the moment, wherein they resort to sudden and rash decisions. Some people get angry in defending their self-respect.
Most of the grave crimes are committed due to sudden provocation for which the panacea outlined by the physician won’t help us at such times. Although all religions advocate patience and tolerance, it is a common human failing for ordinary people to lose their temper.
Hence, I do not think that the procedure outlined by the physician will help us always in defeating anger.
