Information Technology Governance
Every industry is affected by a lack of information security or teething troubles in value delivery. Suntel the preferred solution provider for top corporates, in its efforts to end this crisis sponsored the 04th Annual Conference on Information Technology Governance organised by the ISACA Sri Lanka Chapter recently.

The conference disseminated valuable information on strategic alignment, value delivery, IT audit practices, information security management practices, IT risk and compliance, performance etc. The conference was also followed by a security awards night in order to promote and recognize the best information security activities and a workshop on implementing IT governance using Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies (COBIT)

The conference included a broad spectrum of topics such as the ‘business model on cyber criminals’ and the‘re-emergence of presentation visualisation and the threat to software giants’. CIO’s, IT managers, Directors/CEO’s/CFO’s/Division Heads from IT savvy organisations and others in the local industry were also provided the platform for networking with foreign professionals.
