Chamika Sasanka Fernando of Central College,
Wadduwa, who scored 316 runs in just 102 balls in an Inter-School
Under-13 match recently was gifted with cricket gear at Sri Lanka
Cricket yesterday. Former Test Captain Arjuna Ranatunga, who too had
scored a triple century in his teenage years, congratulated Fernando
for his magnificent knock at a simple presentation held at the SLC.
While requesting him to have an interest in his studies, Ranatunga
encouraged him to strive forward with his natural stroke making. The
