Two prominent tennis clubs in the Colombo outskirts, Dehiwala - Mt. Lavinia Cosmopolitan and Carlton Club from Moratuwa, recorded comprehensive 3-0 wins against their opponents, Army SC and NCC, in their opening ties of this year’s All Island Inter-Club Singles Tennis Tournament which got underway at the respective club courts last Saturday (1).
The preliminaries of the event are to go on till the end of next month. The Sri Lanka Tennis Association conducts the Tournament.
