19 young people graduated from the Department of Textile and Clothing Technology of the Moratuwa University.They showcased their designs on a catwalk at the grandball room of the Galle Face Hotel. It was a slick and sophisticated fashion show, and showed tremendous talent.

The three distinguished judges were Manisha Arora from India, Colin McDowell from England and Otara Gunawardena. Manisha Arora is known as the best Indian designer while Colin McDowell has received OBE award and he is in the Queen’s Honours list, while Otara is the businesswoman and CEO of Odel, the largest departmental store in Sri Lanka.
