The Jathika Hela Urumaya (JHU) yesterday dispatched a consignment of essential items for refugees fleeing the LTTE from threatened villages in the Wanni and Mullaitivu areas to the government controlled areas. The consignment was handed by JHU Parliamentarian Ven. Akmeemana Dayaratne to Dr. Gunadasa Amarasekera, Convenor of Manel Mal Movement. Looking on are key JHU members Ven. Ranpathvila Wimalaratana there, Nishantha Warnasinghe, Bosaeth Kalahepathirana, Sugeeswara Bandara and Col. Anil Amarasekara.
