Exetel Communication (Pvt) Ltd signs up with TopJobs for e-Recruitment

Exetel Pty Ltd is an Australian technology consulting company founded the early 1990s, providing a wide range of technical and management consulting services. From 2003 Exetel also branched out into becoming a service provider of data and telephone communications services. Over the past four year Exetel has grown to a company servicing over 85,000 customers but only has a staff of 30 personnel giving it better than world best practice ratios of revenue and profit dollars to number of personnel and number of customers to number of personnel. Exetel was the first, and remains the only, Australian communications service provider that does its business entirely on line via a web site. To staff its Sri Lankan operation, the company employed its first support engineer in Colombo in February 2006. The current Exetel employees based in Sri Lanka operate from their homes with Exetel supplied computers, telephones and ADSL lines linked directly to Exetel’s North Sydney PABX and data base servers providing end user support and fault resolution. To support its recruitment drive in Sri Lanka, Exetel commenced using the TopJobs jobs and recruitment internet platform.
