Four Tamil persons who had been earlier residing in
Kataragama had arrived in the Mahaheella Grama Seva Division of Beliatta
DS division recently, without the relevant documents from the Grama Seva
Niladaris of Kataragama. They are supposed to be selling king coconuts at
the Tangalla market.These four Tamil persons were seeking registration
in the Mahaheella GS division in the names of dead Sinhala persons. This
has created suspicion in many including the GS of the Mahaheella division.
This suspicion is further confirmedby the very fact that they are
selling king coconuts at the Tangalla pola during the day time and go to
Mahaheella to spend the night. Tangalla is a town frequented by a VVIP.
The most unbelievable fact is the pressure applied on the GS by a
responsible officer of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service to register
the names of the four Tamil persons without any investigation.
