The tournament, conducted, by Sri Lanka Cricket is sponsored by Coca-Cola Beverages Sri Lanka Ltd.

Coca-Cola officials announced its sponsorship at a media briefing held on Monday, at Sri Lanka Cricket headquarters, in Colombo.

The tournament, which commenced in November, will see 21 teams in action in both groups. Sinhalese Sports Club, Moors SC, Tamil Union C&AC, Colombo CC, Chilaw Marians CC, Colts CC, Ragama CC, Bloomfield C&AC, Nondescripts CC, Army SC and Badureliya CC are in Tier ‘A’ while the 10 other teams will fight it out in Tier ‘B’. They are, Burgher Recreation Club, Panadura SC, Singha SC, Air Force SC, Saracens SC, Lankan CC, Moratuwa SC, Police SC, Sebastianites CC and Seeduwa Raddoluwa CC.
