As William Costley bids adieu, French born Jerome Auvity takes the reigns at the Hilton Colombo. Having graduated from the International Hotel School, Lausanne, Switzerland in 1988, his career in hospitality spans 21 years. Food and Beverage being his forte, Auvity began his career with the Hilton chain in 1990 as a Restaurant Manager at the Hilton Taipei. Growing from strength to strength, he worked at the Hilton Osaka in Japan and Hilton Singapore. He was the General Manager of Hilton Kyongju, Korea, Hilton Narita, Japan, Grand Hilton Seoul, Korea, Hilton Hanoi Opera, Vietnam and finally at the Hilton Sydney, Australia, prior to taking up the reins here at the Hilton Colombo. Jerome Auvity makes Colombo, Sri Lanka his home with his wife, son and daughter who will join him shortly.
