The leader of the gang, a millionaire businessman, was the owner of several guest houses in Wennapuwa, police said.
The Katupotha robbery was committed on October 26 where the gang had forcibly entered the woman’s house and had after binding her stolen the cash and jewellery estimated at Rs 6.5 million.
The Katupotha Police earlier arrested two other suspects in this connection.
OIC Crimes Kumara Nalawansa and a team of officers of the Mount Lavinia Police made the recent arrests.
