Two minutes’ silence will be observed at 8.35 am tomorrow,
Monday, January 5 in all Ministries, Provincial Councils and government
institutions in memory of war heroes who sacrificed their lives to defend
Sri Lanka’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
In a program drawn up, religious ceremonies will also be held to bless
the valiant security forces who liberated the LTTE bastion of Kilinochchi.
The national flag will be hoisted followed by the singing of the national
anthem.
