Deputy Chairman of Committees, JVPMP Ramalingam Chandrasekar and Secretary General of Parliament Dhammika Kithulegoda met former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamed during their recent official visit to Malaysia.

Chandrasekara apprised Mahathir Mohamed of the current political situation in Sri Lanka. Mahathir Mohamed expressed his concern over the terrorist problem faced by the country which had become a global menace and was confident that Sri Lanka would be able to solve it soon.
