Parliament meets today (6). The government is to table a motion seeking the extension of the State of Emergency for another month.

Leaders of all political parties represented in current Parliament met last Thursday with the Speaker W. M. J. Lokkubandara in the Chair and decided on first priority for the motion moved by Prime Minister Ratnasiri Wickremanayake for debate.
