Zavia Sports Club Dharga Town entered the group final stage defeating Veterans’ Sports Club, Matara, by five goals to two in an All Island Inter Club Premier League 2008 Division I group semifinal knock-out football tournament match worked off at Uyanwatta stadium in Matara last Sunday.

At half time the scores were one all.

This tournament is organised and conducted by the Football Federation of Sri Lanka.

Mohamed Riswan scored three goals and Mohamed Izzmeth netted two goals for Zavia SC and Hashan scored both goals for losers. Zavia SC will meet the winners of Urban Council SC Ambalangoda/Galle Youth SC at Dharga Town or Galle on 14.10.09 in the group final.
