Ratnapura Additional Magistrate M. M. M. Mihal remanded UNP Pradeshya Sabha member and tuition master Lalith Setunga Arachchi till January 20 when he surrendered to Court through his lawyers on Tuesday.

He was wanted by the Police over the killing of the Principal of Gilimale Samanala Vidyalaya, Gunapala Perera, on January 4 at the entrance to the school.

The suspect and some others were alleged to have assaulted the victim to death.
