Several community projects completed in
Ambalangoda opened by JVP MP

Ambalangoda: Several development projects completed in the Ambalangoda electorate under the ‘Janasetha’ scheme of the JVP were opened on January 17, by Galle District MP, Chandrasena Wijesinghe on the invitation of SPC member and Ambalangoda JVP organizer, Nishantha Perera. Donations of some items to the people also took place along with these openings.

At Godahena, renovated Millawatte road was opened and sports equipment distributed among villagers. At Kobethuduwa Singhegama a newly constructed road was opened. At Batapola, Akkarapaha road was renovated and opened, and chairs were donated to the Govi Samithiya. At Dorala and Meetiyagoda beehive boxes were distributed among the public. At the Ambalangoda Fisheries Complex needy equipment were donated to the Dhamma School students.

Ambalangoda Divisional Secreary, Vernon Perera, Ambalangoda UC member, Chandradasa Naiduwadu, Ambalangoda PS member, Jayamini Migalhewaq and several priests attended these functions.
