Prof. Barry Rider calls on President

Prof. Barry A.K. Rider, Professional Fellow of Jesus College, University of Cambridge, and former Director of the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, University of London, called on President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees, last week. Prof. G. L. Peiris, Minister of Export Development and International Trade, Attorney General Mohan Peiris, President's Counsel and Lalith Weeratunga, Secretary to the President participated in the discussion. Prof. Rider, a leading authority on the Law relating to banking, investment and corporate affairs, also addressed the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and the Association of Professional Bankers of Sri Lanka during his visit to Sri Lanka. |
