Deyata Kirula exhibition tomorrow

The ‘Dayata Kirula’ exhibition, organized for the third time to coincide with Independence Day, is scheduled to be held at the BMICH tomorrow and will continue till February 8.

According to the Ministry of Finance the theme for this year’s exhibition is ‘Eka Mawakage Daru Kela’ (children of one mother).

State, private, and international sectors will be manning over 1,000 stalls at the exhibition.

On the opening day the exhibition will be open to the public from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight and on the other four days it will be open from 9:00 a.m. till midnight.

Meanwhile the security in Colombo has been tightened as the nation is preparing to celebrate its 61st Independence Day and the ‘Dayata Kirula’ exhibition.

The Independence Day celebrations are to be held at the Galle Face Green under the patronage of President Mahinda Rajapaksa tomorrow.
