The Crime Investigation Unit of Galle Police last week arrested two youth suspected of robbing three mobile phones from a super market.

Police investigations revealed that they had got acquainted through the internet and subsequently met each other in Galle and planned the robbery. The three mobile phones that were robbed are valued at of Rs 260,000.

They are residents of Makola and Galle.

The investigations are being conducted by a team of officers under the supervision of Head of the investigation unit CI Mahesh Kumarasinghe led by HQI Galle Satish Gamage.
