Opposition leader of the Sabaragamuwa Provincial Council and movie actor/director Ranjan Ramanayake is in a dilemma as to whom he should marry. At first he told ‘The Island,’ he would choose a wife from Ratnapura.

But now he is wondering whether his future wife should be from Ratnapura or from Mumbai, India. However, Ramanayake whose film ‘Leader’ is now being screened in the EAP circuit is in a quandary following the proposal he received from an Indian actress during one of his many visits to India in the recent past for the shooting of ‘Leader’.

He may have to place a full stop to his political career if he marries this Indian beauty whom he got to know while directing ‘Leader’ as it was one of the conditions she laid down, he said. "The Indian girl’s parents have given their blessings for the union," he said.
