The Ceylon Continental Hotel is offering deals for Royalists and Thomians planning to be present for the Big Match from March 12 to 14 (three days) with a special residential package covering periods from one night to four nights on a bed and breakfast basis at a special rate.

A hotel spokesman said that it was offering this deal for old boys of the two schools living both here and abroad, past cricketers and the different `class’ groups (’53 Group `64 Group etc.) of various ages together with their families and friends.

The special residential package will be available on a bed and breakfast basis at a very special price and exclusive meeting rooms/lounges will also be made available for old boys groups of both schools to have their annual meetings and celebrate with their classmates.

Those flying in from abroad for the match and on holiday can buy rooms at specially discounted prices from March 1 to March 31 and even extend their holiday until the New Year is celebrated in mid-April, the spokesman said.
