The presentation of Life
Time Awards in Banking is an annual event organized by the Colombo centre
of the Chartered Institute of Bankers London presently known as IFS School
of Finance. The council members of the Colombo Centre organizes this event
annually to select a suitable person to honour at a function attended by
senior bankers and distinguished invitees. This year the council has
organized this event at the Ceylon Continental Hotel on the 24th Feb, at
06.30 pm. The Governor of the Central Bank Ajith Nivard Cabraal will grace
the occasion as the Chief Guest
The Chartered Institute of Bankers, London has earned a name as a well
reputed Institute for banking education in the International arena. It is
the most recognized place in the world to obtain most prestigious banking
qualifications.
The Colombo center was setup by the eminent bankers who obtained
qualifications from CIB London with the objective of furthering the
banking education in Sri Lanka.
The Centre has conducted various banking educational programmes ,
public lecturers, interbank quiz and banking publications for the benefit
of the banking community in Sri Lanka.
