The latest addition to the facilities of the PRG Hotel, Polhena is a 20 meter swimming pool. This addition is a welcome feature not only for PRG Hotel but also for the city of Matara. This swimming pool boasts of being the first swimming pool to come up in this city with the capacity to entertain many guest at a time.

The hotel plans to have swimming lessons conducted by a licensed swimming coach and will be offering a club membership to selected few who wish to loin and be entitled to the many concession the hotel is offering to the club members.

Presently the hotel also plays host to the Southern Sailing Association’s training camp, within the hotel premises where old and young alike can learn the art of using wind power to move around the sea. This is a CSR project started by Load Star company and Maersk shipping lines together with Building a Better Future Foundation.
