This year too, Lions Club of Moratuwa/Ratmalana has organized the quiz programme "Sri Lankan Masterminds" for the 15th consecutive year. The programme will be held on 22nd February 2009 at Hotel Ceylon Intercontinental commencing at 3.00 p.m. We hope to conduct this unique programme with much improvement this year through sponsorships of both cash and kind. We strongly believe that the captivated audience which we hope to have for this event are from corporate sector, financial institutions and schools.

Sri Lankan Masterminds has proven to be a very successful event year-on-year. DFCC Vardhana Bank takes great pride in supporting this event and thereby as well as towards community service projects conducted by the Lions Club of Moratuwa-Ratmalana.

The funds raised through this event in the past were channelled towards the service projects such as assisting schools in remote areas, conducting health camps and eye camps including cataract operations etc.

Our objectives of this project is to bring together the best "think tanks" in the whole Island to one platform as groups and give them the opportunity to be the best. Further to create awareness among the different sectors towards their social obligations through our efforts serving the less fortunate and needy.
