Two youth were killed at Lindula in the Thalawakele area when five trees collapsed on the house in which they took refuge on Tuesday afternoon, police said.

The incident took place during heavy rains in the area.

The police identified the victims as Sathasivam Naguwaram (17) and Selvaraja Chandramohan (18).
