Tamil diaspora urge Prabha to release civilians
One of the members of "Tamil Diaspora for Dialogue" Mrs Rajeswari Balasubramaniam yesterday appealed to LTTE leader Prabhakaran for the release of innocent civilians trapped in the "No Fire Zone".

Traders warned to sell at controlled prices
The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has warned all traders to sell consumer items at controlled prices during the festive season. Traders found guilty of violations will be prosecuted under the Consumer Affairs Authority Act.
