During election time, contestants from all the parties distribute leaflets saying that they are going to do this and that. But it is sad, after getting elected they forget their promises.

I am living down Lady Evelyn De Soysa Road, Idama, Moratuwa. Our road is in a dilapidated condition, lot of potholes and a being a tarred road, for a long time it has not been done. When travelling in a three wheeler, you get body aches and pains because always the three-wheeler is being bounced because of the potholes. Our vehicles face lots of problems due to this situation.

When making speeches at election time, politicians always say that they developed all the roads in Sri Lanka and they are developing them at the moment. If anyone comes to our town you will see, how dilapidated our roads are. I hope and wish the relevant authorities will look into this matter immediately.
