The Athureliya Pradeshiya Saba has introduced a new CD containing the details of historic and valuable places in the Athureliya Divisional Secretariat area.

Athureliya Divisional Secretary Nihal Silva said "particulars of our national heritage are included in it and it runs for nearly seventy minutes. We have taken steps to distribute the copies of this CD among the school children free of charge. Arrangements have been made to allow the foreigners to buy the CDs cassettes."

Details of the water spout of Vilpita, Maluwarala reservoir, Oliyagan forest and Rajjuru Bandara Devalaya are some the items included in CD.
