There will be loads of excitement around Bentota when Mobitel along with Chrystal Holidays, Mount Lavinia Hotel and Bentota club set in motion what is set to be the beach sports event of this season - the Mobitel Beach Volleyball Championship commencing today in Bentota.

Participation for this tournament is open to all professional players and for amateurs. The aim of the tournament is to encourage more players to take part in this exiting and fast moving game.

Commencing today at 9.00 on the beaches of Club Bentota, the tournament will last for three days and finals will be played on April at 10.00 am where Sports Minsiter Gamini Lokuge, the President of the Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation, Dilan Perera, GM of Mt. Lavinia Hotel, Anura Devapriya and CEO of Mobitel, Suran Amarasekara, will be present.
