Action from Fox Hill Motor Races
2009 |
Lt. Col. Duminda Jayasinghe met with an accident when his car went off the track in Saturday’s ‘Fox Hill Motor Races 2009’ held at Diyatalawa Military Academy race track. Jayasinghe, who was competing in over-1500cc car event, got out of control of his vehicle and ended up in the ditch adjacent to the race track. The rider was immediately admitted to the hospital but was later reported out of danger. He was later discharged from hospital. Aravinda Premadasa won the main title in motor car events while Gayan Sandaruwan clinched the main riding title. Pic by Kamal Bogoda |
