Nobody came forward to the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital yesterday (21) to accept the bodies of the father and son, the main suspects in the killing of a three-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl at Negekanda in Akmeemana on April 17.

However, one person called over at the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital to identify the dead father and son. The bodies were then handed over to the Grama Sevaka to be buried at State expenses

A ten-year-old girl Irangani and a three -year old boy Kaveen Raksmika went missing while at home at Nugekanda in Akmeemana on April 17 and on the following day their bodies were recovered from two places in the neighbourhood by the Police and the villagers.
