Jetwing Hotels have come forward to organise an Open Ranking Tennis Tournament (‘C’ Grade) in collaboration of the Sri Lanka Tennis Association (SLTA).
The tournament will be held at the newly opened tennis centre in Negombo from April 29 to May 3.
"We are delighted to be part of this prestigious event, held in Negombo for the first time. We are confident that our four hotels situated in Negombo will cater to both the participants and viewers of this tournament. We have also organised some extra activities to enhance spectator participation during this inaugural tournament," said Ruwan Samarasinghe, Managing Director, Jetwing Hotels, in a media communiqué on Friday (24).
The Negombo Jetwing tournament will be held in the following age groups:
•U-12 Boys and Girls Singles
•U-12 Boys and Girls Doubles
•U-16 Boys and Girls Singles
•U-16 Boys-Girls Doubles
•Men’s Open Singles
•Men’s Open Doubles
•Women’s Open Singles
•Women’s Open Doubles
•Mixed Doubles
•Veterans Over-45
