Six prospective investors submitted Expressions of Interest to be a strategic partner of Seylan Bank PLC. Of these, the five institutions/enterprises noted below have been shortlisted:

The shortlisted prospective investors would be able to obtain bid documents and the Information Memorandum on Seylan Bank on 27 April 2009 to perform their due diligence on the bank and submit their bids. The final date for the submission of bids is 07 May 2009.
