It is obvious that USA and its allies have no anti-terrorist policy as such aimed to rid the world of terrorism and make it a safe place for all people because all terrorists indiscriminately maim and kill innocent people and damage property for political purpose. If a terrorist organization is a threat to their countries or their colonialist interests anywhere in the world they will go all out to wipe out that terrorist group no matter how many innocent lives are lost in the process e.g. Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan. If on the other hand a terrorist group could be used to further their colonialist goals USA and its allies would have no compunction in supporting that terrorist group under cover of humanitarian grounds no matter how many innocent lives are lost in the process e.g. Sri Lanka. How could such a policy qualify as a global anti terrorist policy when it qualifies as pure colonialism?

This policy is put into practice with duplicity, treachery, terror, murder and mayhem. They do all this in the name of altruism, peace, harmony and equality. This had been their policy right through out their history and is driven by a desire to dominate and exploit the weak. They have killed millions of innocent people and helped other despots kill similar numbers to further these interests.

Mr. Barak Obama promised to bring about a meaningful change and rediscover the basis of American moral obligations. He seems to have thawed a little towards his enemies but nothing substantial has been achieved with regard to the burden of violence in the world at large, and particularly American colonialist designs which is the cause of the violence and which manifests as killing fields every where and which it covertly sponsor in strategic places such as Sri Lanka.

Though Obama waxes eloquence on justice, fair play, equality, freedom and such jargon of the moral high ground the reality seems that he is unable to deliver. He is a man who gave up his inherited religion knowing that he stood no chance of succeeding politically if he remained a Muslim. He seems to be capable of changing his moral composition to suit the abominable policies of his country.

He cannot be unaware of the bestiality of the LTTE. Yet he apparently endorses the efforts made by his government and its representative in Sri Lanka to save the murderer who had killed more people than any other despot in the world. If Prabhakaran is given another lease of life what could happen to Sri Lanka must be known to Obama. Yet he is unable to change US policy in this regard. LTTE obviously fits into their global policy of hegemony and colonialism in the South East Asia just as much as does the Israeli military supremacy in the Middle East. Israel has robbed the Palestinians of their land and the LTTE is trying to rob the land that belongs to all Sri Lankans. Obama will not force Israel to do anything they do not want to do. USA is trying to force Sri Lankan government to stop the war against terrorists.

Cannot the USA even at this moment when its economy is in the doldrums and its self-created enemies are on the ascendancy and its people are crying for a meaningful change, which would enable them to live secure lives without fear of violence and loss of employment and shelter bring about a change of policy, give up its desire to dominate, its hegemony and exploitation and work in harmony with other powerful nations like China and Russia to make this world a better place to live. Or is it too much to expect from an Obama who is white in all but skin colour?
