Perturbed Countries

France, Britain and the US appear convinced that the fleeing civilians of the Vanni are drowning at sea, but they do not have a single cadaver to prove their allegation.

Were these Countries agitated when thousands lost their lives due to bombs in Iraq, Afghanistan and Vietnam? Were they concerned when the LTTE killed Dr. Neelan Tiruchchelvam and many other Tamil leaders who stood for racial harmony? Tiruchchelvam was world renowned, but his death did not serve their covert purposes and was of little consequence to them. Hence their silence. Kouchner advocates that French and British boats could trespass on Sri Lanka territorial waters to "Help the Dispersed People", little remembering that Sri Lanka is no longer a colony.
