The National Junior Athletic Championship conducted by the Athletic Association of Sri Lanka, is scheduled to be worked off from June 04 to 06, at the Sugathadasa Stadium.

The championship is open to the age groups under 16, under 18, under 20 and under 23 for both girls and boys, while the 10,000m event and walking event is open to under 20 and under 23 athletes.

The ages of athletes will be concerned to 31st of December in 2009.

The closing date for entries will be May 20 and all entries must be sent with Rs. 50 per event and must be addressed to Col. Sudath Madugalle, President, Match Committee of the Sri Lanka Athletic Association, No 33, Torington Mawatha, Colombo 07.
