Dharmaraja College, Kandy overpowered Mahanama College, Colombo by 42 points to 10 in their inter-school under-20 rugby tournament fixture at Longdon Place yesterday.

At the breather Rajans led 21 points to 10.

The winners accumulated their points off six goals as against the two tries by Mahanama.

Leading the try scoring for Rajans was their centre, Dharshana Hettipola, who scored three tries while flanker Dhanushka Karunasena, full back Rajindra Kumar and centre Dhanuja Tillekeratne made their contributions with a try apiece.

Fly half Indika Wickramanayake was successful in converting four of these tries while Rajindra Kumara slotted one.

It was flanker M. C. Shanuka who scored both the tries for Mahanama.
