

The
Cinnamon Grand offers a glimpse into the flavoursome and fiery cuisine of
Mexico with a special Mexican Food Promotion from the 14th to the 24th of
May. Bringing its rich three thousand year old culinary history to the
table, this feast takes center stage once again at the Atrium Café from
7.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. Doing the honours will be none other than Mexico’s
finest singing chefs, Master Chefs Roberto Travers and Sergio Snyder,
making their return to the Cinnamon Grand in style!
The promotion highlights a range of flavoursome dishes which are all designed to encapsulate the spirit of Mexico! Soups include Carrot and orange coup and Shrimp Alvarado. Salads range from Guacamole, Prawn ceviche, Bean salad, Asparagus salad with citrus vinaigrette and Watercress and bacon salad to Cucumber in cilantro sauce, Beetroot salad, Lettuce and green peas with toasted peanuts and Mushroom salad in chipotle chilli.
Main dishes include Mojo garlic prawns in mulato chilli, Crab in chipotle chilli sauce, Fish yucatan, Chicken in mole poblano, Chilli con Carne, Roasted pork spare ribs in adobo, Lamb Tlaxcala, Drunken steaks, Chilli enchiladas, Zucchini Mexicana, Aztec tortilla and Caramelized corn with cream of garlic. Desserts range from Cajeta crepes, Churros, Tabasco bananas, Mexican crème caramel to Drunken bananas, Viva Celaya cake, Cocada moreliana and Arroz con leche. The menu will be subjected to daily changes to offer patrons a repertoire of Mexican cuisine.
But that’s not all! Chefs Roberto and Sergio will not be content with displaying their immense culinary prowess; they will also stop by your table and serenade you as you eat! Adding to the sound of their melodious voices will be the spectacular décor that reflects the heart of Mexico. Live stations focus on Mexican delicacies including tacos, fajitas, burritos, enchiladas, toastadas, quesadillas and nachos. A tequila bar, set to spice up the night, will carry a range of colourful tequila shots, adding zest and spirit to the feast!
