Anver and late Sithy Thahira, beloved husband of Sithy Kadija, everloving father of Afzal (Upali Travels - Upali Group of Companies) and Shahizeena, father-in-law of Hamza Nizar and Noor Faiza, loving grandfather of Faadhil (Amana Takaful), Farhadh (OpenArc Systems Management), Aathif and Afrah, brother of late A. C. M. Thair, A. C. M. Ismail, A. C. M. Hafeel, Noor Naima Adjward, Mumina Ummah Hamza, Sithy Aisha Adjward and Sithy Saida Mazahir, brother-in-law of M. A. M. Mohideen, Nalufara, Mymoona and late Bishrun Joonoos. Janaza took place at No. 21, Rajasinghe Road, Wellawatte on the 6th of May 2009 to the Dehiwala Muslim Burial Grounds.
