The Post mortems on 33 LTTE cadres killed in fighting were held at the Teaching Hospital, Anuradhapura on Wednesday by Judicial Medical Officer of the hospital, Dr. Ajith Jayasena on the orders of the Court.
The Magistarial inquiry was held by Kebithigollewa Magistrate Chamari Danansuriya prior to that.
The corpses of the LTTE cadres were buried at the Anuradhapura General Cemetery at State expense.
The post mortems of 13 civilians who died in Mullaitivu a few days ago, due to shelling by the Tigers, were scheduled to be held yesterday at the same hospital.
