The Uva Provincial Council is scheduled to be dissolved on May 28, according to reliable governmental information.
Both, the Uva and Southern provincial councils were due to be dissolved in August. However it has now been decided to dissolve the Uva Council next Thursday while the Southern Council would be dissolved after elections to the Uva Council scheduled in early July, sources said.
