Due to ceremonies organized at Parliament grounds today (22) to felicitate the war heroes, several roads leading to Parliament from Borella Campbell Park onwards and from Nugegoda would be closed to traffic.
Police headquarters advises motorists to find alternate routes.
All schools in the Colombo and Kotte educational zones would remain closed today. They will reopen on Monday.
Though the procession is scheduled to commence from Campbell Park at 1.00 pm traffic in the Colombo and Nugegoda Police divisions would be distrupted
All vehicular traffic from Peliyagoda to Colombo and from Nugegoda to Colombo would be directed by the Traffic Police as to which way they should proceed to reach their destinations.
