More jobs in Korea
Job opportunities in Korea which dropped due to the world economic recession are again shown signs of picking up, Chairman of the Foreign Employment Bureau Kingsley Ranawaka said.
He said Korea has agreed to provide 5,400 Sri Lankans jobs in the course of this year.
He also said Lankans who find foreign employment could still borrow money from the Bank of Ceylon and the National Savings Bank.
Ranawaka said fluency in the Korean language and training in the type of jobs they would be posted to would greatly enhance the job opportunities.
