      Editorial:Defending  victory
President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday called for a new era in foreign relations to safeguard Sri Lanka. Addressing the Victory Day Parade at the Galle Face Green, a jubilant President said that having won the battle against the LTTE, the country should now establish what he called ‘freedom and sovereignty internationally.’
