Haritha Pilapitiya (13) of Trinity College, Kandy is already going great guns.

He won a gold medal for Sri Lanka at the Arafura Games held in Australia where 22 shooters participated in the sub-junior category. He also won silver in the team event.

Haritha took to shooting three years ago and has won numerous local competitions. He emerged junior champion at the last IPSC meet held in Kandy and was ranked 9th in the Open Division.

He is a member of the Sri Lanka National pool.

A member of the Hill country Shooting Club, Haritha is coached by National coach captain Sarath Zoysa (Rtd).
