NOTTINGHAM, England (AP) - Pragyan Ojha took four wickets as India made a winning start to its Twenty20 World Cup defense Saturday by beating Bangladesh by 25 runs at Trent Bridge.

Ojha’s four for 21 on his Twenty20 international debut ensured India’s 180-5 was enough for the win.

The 22-year-old Ojha credited his Indian Premier League campaign with champion Deccan for boosting his self belief.

"It was quite chilly but thanks to IPL, where I bowled quite

well, I had a lot of confidence in myself and I backed myself," he said.

Yuvraj Singh’s whirlwind 41 provided the India innings with

much-needed late impetus after Gautam Gambhir had found the boundary only four times in his 50.

Yuvraj hit four sixes and three fours from 18 balls.

"I suppose Yuvraj’s innings and a couple of mistakes of ours

with the bat decided the game," Bangladesh coach Jamie Siddons said. "It was one over of his batting against Naeem (Islam) there - three sixes - which was probably the telling point.

"Then we’re just making one or two little mistakes. It’s not our

skill level anymore, just one or two in the field and then a couple of batting decisions."
