BIOS symposium on rebuilding Sri Lanka

The Bishops’ Institute for Orientation Studies (BIOS) of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference will hold a symposium on, "Post-War Era: Rebuilding Sri Lanka. Opportunities and Challenges" at the SEDEC auditorium, No. 133 Kynsey Road, Borella on Saturday (July 4) from 9.30 am - 12.30 pm.

The key-note speaker will be Prof. Tissa Vitharane, Minister for Technology & Scientific Affairs and Chairman of APRC. The other speakers of the panel are Dr. Jehan Perera (Exec. Director/National Peace Council), Dr. Pakiasothy Saravanamuttu (Exec. Director/ Centre for Policy Alternatives) and Chandra Jayaratne (Former Chairman, Ceylon Chamber of Commerce). His Lordship Bishop Norbert Andradi OMI., the Secretary General of the Bishops’ Conference will chair the sessions. Public are invited to attend.
