No differences with Pillaiyan – Karuna

National Integration Minister Vinayagamoorthy Muralitharan yesterday said "however much there are differences between myself and the Eastern Province Chief Minister Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan, when it comes to national development, we will forget all that and work together."

The Minister said if anyone thinks that KP alias Kumaran Pathmanathan who is in exile could establish ‘Tamil Eelam,’ it’s only a pipe dream. Although KP is trying to form a shadow LTTE government with the assistance of the international community, it will never be a reality, he said.

"I will fully cooperate with the government in President Rajapaksa’s endeavour to provide overseas employment to the youth in the Eastern Province," he said.

The Minister along with the Chief Minister said the time has come for the Tamil Diaspora to assist the displaced people in Sri Lanka and appealed to them to come here and help.

He was speaking at the a ceremony to declare open the Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau branch in Batticaloa to train youth from all three communities for employment overseas.
