A Kerala based publisher, Stone Hill Foundation Publishing Pvt. Ltd. (SHFP) of Cochin and L&A Publishing of Colombo have entered a book distribution partnership under which L&A will distribute SHFP’s books here.

The partners look forward to co-publishing books from Sri Lanka for the international market, a news release issued in this connection said.

SHFP is a leading international publisher that offers outstanding nonsectarian books on the subjects of body/mind/spirit, non-duality, ecology and eco-sprituality, science-spirituality interaction, the emerging new paradigms in spirituality, and the wisdom traditions of the world through its imprints Editions India, Arunachala Press, Festival Books, and One Word Press.

Founded four years ago by publishing professionals with combined international publishing experience of over 80 years, SHFP publishes 40 to 60 titles a year, and is now sufficiently well known internationally that authors from all over the world are sending their books to SHFP for original publication under its imprints.

L&A was founded over a year ago by Ajitsingham Balasingham and Lasangi Bodaragama, professionals in the printing and publishing fields. It is a full-fledged publishing house committed to producing high-quality pictorial books and providing total publishing solutions for authors and publishers.

A news release issued by L&A said that the company posses knowledge and expertise in the printing, publishing and distribution fields here and aims to bring together writers, editors and photographers in the fields of art, architecture, design, photography, travel fashion and lifestyle, archaeology, history and spirituality for the purpose of publishing illustrated books in Asia.

L&A is now engaged in creating a strong distribution network to support their Indian partner SHFP.

"The market for books on spirituality and body/mind subjects is the fastest growing for any segment of the book market worldwide. SHFP not only harvests the best literature on these subjects and authors for reprinting for the Asian market but also acquires original titles to be published for the world market," the news release from L&A in Colombo said.
